Today we commemorated the Day of the Sea.
The Day of the Sea is a special day for Bolivia, a landlocked country that was once part of the Pacific Ocean. To commemorate this day, we held a solemn celebration with students singing anthems in honor of Bolivia's lost ocean access. We believe that someday, through hard work and dedication, our country will once again have access to the sea.
We believe that it is possible to regain this access while also maintaining peace with our important neighbor, Chile. We hope to form the next generation who, through wise diplomatic strategies and negotiations, can help our country secure a peaceful solution that will benefit both countries.
Viva Bolivia!
